Hazards considered

The scope of the project’s hazard assessment was limited to coastal hazards → coastal inundation, coastal erosion and coastal landslides.

It did not assess fluvial (river), pluvial (surface/storm water) or groundwater flooding but did consider the interaction between coastal and fluvial/pluvial/groundwater flooding where possible. In addition, in its desk-top phase, the project’s first pass risk assessment considered fluvial flooding and tsunamis.
